Description

Audi RS7 concept car was created by an Austrian designer, and the exterior of the car is a combination of styles of Audi's various models. The design of the side body and the parking space is very similar to the design of the Audi R8, while the door uses Lamborghini's classic scissor door design. The 2013 North American (Detroit) International Auto Show opened on the 14th, and Audi's new RS7 was officially unveiled and released at the show. The new RS7 will be the top performance version of the Audi A7 range and will feature a 4.0TFSI twin-turbocharged engine, targeting high-performance four-door coupes such as the Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG, BMW M6 Gran Coupe and Porsche PanameraTurbo.

The RS7 has a rear-mounted engine and many design elements resemble the current Audi R8, including the contrasting colors of the hood and the rest of the body. But the contrast here is more defined, the stark black covered rear engine is the same as the R8, and the horizontal design lines are reminiscent of Lamborghini, but the RS7's front wheel cover has a larger curve above it, providing a higher natural touch. The front face is a very obvious double mouth, with abstract LED headlights and two small round lights in the center. Another feature is the scissor/gull-shaped door, also borrowed from the cabin of some Lamborghini models and extended to the rear of the body, while also covering the rear wheel cover.

In terms of interior, the instrument panel on a black background is printed with white scales and red hands, and the stereo RS 7 logo located in the center of the tachometer is the finishing touch. The car keys, flat-bottom three-spoke leather steering wheel, sports front seats, welcome pedals and the MMI system and driver information system are all marked with the RS logo. In terms of decoration, carbon fiber inserts are standard in the car, and three other materials are available as optional. The roof lining is standard in black fabric, with optional black Alcantara fabric.

The Audi RS7 is powered by a 4.0 TFSIV8 twin-turbocharged direct injection engine with a maximum power of 412 kW and a maximum torque of 700 nm. It is matched by an 8-speed manual all-in-one transmission, as well as a quattro all-wheel-drive system. The 0-100km/h acceleration is only 3.9 seconds.
