The Audi Q3 is an SUV based on the same PQ35 platform as the Volkswagen Tiguan and is positioned below the Q7 and Q5 in the Audi model range. To differentiate it from the Volkswagen model, the Audi Q3 will be tuned for a more dynamic driving performance, a luxurious personality appearance, and will be equipped with adaptive shock absorbers, like those equipped with the TT.
In terms of power, it is reported that Audi will provide three four-cylinder engines for Q3 initially, of which the standard version of the gasoline version is equipped with 170 horsepower 2.0TFSI engine, and the top model of Q3 is equipped with the maximum power of 211 horsepower 2.0TFSI engine on the Q5, which accelerates 6.9 seconds per hundred kilometers. The 2.0TDI diesel engine has a maximum power of 140 HP.
In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the Audi Q3 are 4385mm*1831mm*1608mm (including luggage rack), and the wheelbase is 2603mm. With an aluminum engine and some lightweight technology, the two-drive Q3 weighs just 1500kg. In addition, the Audi Q3 is available in 12 colors, while Audi's off-road kit and S line body components are available as optional options. In terms of tire specifications, the base Q3 uses 215/65 R16 tires, while the premium will be upgraded to 17-inch wheels and the new car has a ground clearance of 170mm.
In terms of interior, the interior of the Audi Q3 inherits Audi's usual style, but with sports seats and some chrome trim, to create a sporty feel. The overall interior style is somewhat similar to the Audi A1. But the air outlet has been replaced with a square. The Audi Q3 is equipped with a Bose speaker, 14 speakers, Audi MMI system, GPS navigation, 7-inch display, and a wireless hot zone where passengers can access the Internet wirelessly. The chassis system, the Audi Q3 and Volkswagen Tiguan are based on the same platform design, with a 4-link rear suspension like the Tiguan.
